Facenox keeps biometric processing on the desktop. The cloud side only receives the data needed for device connection and shared reports.

The desktop app may sync organization, site, and device identifiers, groups, members, attendance records, sessions, sync status, and device health metadata into the hosted layer.
Biometric enrollment requires consent, members without active consent are excluded from matching, and revocation removes the member's biometric template.
Enrollment, recognition, attendance capture, local settings, and backup operations continue locally even when Cloud is unavailable.
The software can support privacy-conscious deployments, but the software alone does not make a deployment compliant with GDPR, the Philippine Data Privacy Act, or any other privacy law.
